The day has finally arrived after all the suspense and nerves. We couldn't even search online for the results as there was complications according to the education department. So we had to do it the old school way lol, Cameron was off to school while everybody waited in anticipation for the ultimate news. i called her at 10:30am and was politely told that she has to wait till 11am and the suspense was killing me. I knew she would definately pass but a person still wants to see the evidence. Eventually she confirmed that all was good and well and she passed excellent. More adventure for 2019, she will be off to the university of the western cape to study IT Science. God is good.

Cameron celebrated her 18th birthday on 29/11/2018. 2018 was really a year to remember for CI Ethos. She no longer needs an unabridged certificate to travel abroad. Her dream is to continue studying and taking her dance to new heights in 2019.

On the 19th of September Cameron celebrated her Matric Ball. It was one of the most memorable occasions in 2018 for CI Ethos. She was very blessed and had a beautiful evening as she was escorted by her dance partner and 15 bikers. The road roared with thunder of the bikes, bikers from different clubs in Mitchells Plain but also belong to the 7785. It was amazing to see how there are still so much beautiful souls in this world that will make a young girls day so special. As she was focusing on her matric year, she could not participate in any international hip hop competitions. The fitness and training never stopped though as they have a goal in mind for 2019 and will put all in to achieve it. They are vigorously working on new choreo, mix and gear. They never seize to amaze and i am waiting patiently for the final result.

The games day event was the annual fundraiser for Ci Ethos this year. Every year we try a new theme. in 2017 we had a masked ball and this far all events have been very successful thank God. The funds we raise at these functions is utilized to pay for entry and registration to the hip hop competitions and acquire gear to go with the theme of the mix they dance on. We also utilize the funds to raise more funds. Currently Cameron is trying her hand at baking and bakes muffins on a weekly basis to raise funds. On the games day we had more than 20 games to play e.g. the play station game, jenga, twister, kerim, pool, cards, dominoes, giant snakes and ladders etc... we had food on sale, quarter chicken and salad and hot chips and boerewors rolls and we were all sold out. The kids and adults had great fun and the day was a great success. Thank you to all that supported our function and God bless.
