Church Musical Instruments

The youth shall be the church's future -- this is a play on our national hero's words regarding the youth. Our church started out as a small satellite for the main church in our town to be able to facilitate to the needs of the people who wants to attend the worship service. As time went on, this church became relatively bigger than what it was and people started to be more involved in its works. Later on, with the help of other youth leaders, we started out a worship team to cater for the music of the church which we are proud to say is also being used in various big events of His ministry. Recently, we decided to dive in to the works of discipleship and pushed through in gathering more youth into and back to the church however, as time have already changed the needs for better equipment arose since this generation is more inclined to praising and worshiping God with good music and by extension, good musical instruments. The instruments previously donated by two generations ago of youth leaders have already been worn out and the church council have strategically allocated the funds for other ministerial works since our members aren't all equally financially blessed.

As part of the worship team, I could not just idly stand by and wait for them to notice our needs that's why I am doing this. To be able to be of help to the church and its works through the music ministry, I am calling on to people for a giving heart to stand with the youth of our church with the vision of procuring a new set of these instruments which would include a new drum set, lead, acoustic and bass guitars as well as corresponding amplifiers, a mixer, speakers, microphones, a keyboard and other relevant tools. This is no easy task for someone like me who does not have my own source of income but I believe that by His grace, we will be able to achieve all this.
