Church in India needs new roof, Keyboard and Soundsystem

My name is Christopher David Moyer, and I am a 39 year old Christian man who lives in Grass Valley, California, where I attend the Salvation Army Church. Samuel Polumuri is a pastor friend of mine who lives and preaches in the city of Palakollu, India. I am attempting to raise money for Samuel and his Church. About 8 or 9 years ago, he reached out to me over the internet, and told me that he had heard some of my Christian music online, and he was really blessed by it. He requested a CD, and I gladly sent him one of all my praise and worship songs, which he told me he played repeatedly for his youth ministry. Since that time, we have been in communication with one another- He has been praying for me, and for God's blessings in my life, and I have been praying for him, his family, and his Church that he pastors. He now has over 500 in his congregation, at a main church, as well as a branch church. The needs of this church are great. They have people who are hungry. Many are without Bibles. Their branch church has a damaged roof that will soon cave in if not fixed- The cost to fix it will be about $2000. Their main church also is in need of a piano keyboard and sound system, which will cost also in the realm of $2000.

Many years ago, Samuel revealed to me a burden on his heart to reach the lost in India with a gospel music revival, and he wanted me to come to India, and play praise and worship songs for his Church, and to minister to the sick and hurting in India. It has been my dream for years to make this journey, and now that I am married to a wonderful woman, Stephanie Hughes Moyer, we have started to pray about this dream. Stephanie is a bit scared to go out of the country, but I know if we remain faithful to God, he will protect us and shelter us in India. For now, we are putting out this fundraiser so that we can assist Samuel Polumuri's Church.
