At the age of six, God called me to serve Him, to be a pastor. I got baptized and received Christ at a younger age. Aged 15 I joined the Children's and youth ministry as part of the worship team, playing the keyboard. Over the years working with the children and young adults I got the opportunity to have an intimate relationship with Christ, my desire is to share the same experience with the vulnerable and the broken in Spirit especially the young adults to have the same relationship with Christ through the power of the gospel.
My beloved friends, I'm Basil Kamombe from Zimbabwe; aged 23. In 2015, I felt Jesus calling me to be fulltime into the ministry. And through prayer God opened a door for me to join King's Church in Durham UK, Northeast England for an internship program. The next internship program which will be starting in September 2019 up to July 2020. I will be doing some Church based missions (each week over the year, including practical service on local housing estates, worship and drama on the streets, creative evangelism, visiting the elderly in a local care home and free present wrapping at Christmas), Leadership development, Theological study and Ministry training.
Of course, before I go I have to raise my own financial support of £1,350 for the internship fees which will cover my studies for the year and all mission trips, £6,000 for my living costs for a year. For your generous support of any amount it will be a blessing into other people's lives as I spread the gospel of Christ.
For any confirmation purposes please feel free to contact me if needing the details from my references (Current Senior Pastor from my Church River of life church), or the leadership team from King's Church including the internship coordinates.
Your prayers will help me mostly through this journey.
