Christopher is a young man diagnosed with autism, he lives in his own home with the help of his family and his care team.

When things are going well, Christopher is a happy individual, who loves interacting with those around him. He enjoys his scheduled daily activities, tasks and leisure pursuits. However, when under stress Christopher can become  abusive and destructive, not only to the items around him, but to himself. After such events he often experiences a potent mixture of distress, discomfort, and pain. Those who support Christopher have worked tirelessly to get him the support and diagnosis he needs in order to make such events as limited as possible.

Through their efforts, it was identified that his diet, stomach and bowel movements are tightly linked to such incidents, and efforts are ongoing to determine which substances are 'toxic' to Christopher, or are depleting his system. Those with an Autism Spectrum Disorder often suffer from digestive complications, making it difficult for their bodies to gain vital vitamins and nutrients from their food. Tests conducted at the Great Plains Laboratory in Arizona have identified the specific areas of defficiency that affect Christopher's body.

The funds raised through this project will allow Christopher to engage with a pracitioner, and targeted biomedical interventions, to drastically improve his comfort and quality of life. Christophers family and staff are haven't given up on the dream of a settled and happy Christopher, and we're raising funds to help them get there.

Somehow Rosslyn has convinced  her friends and collegues at Scottish Autism that throwing themselves off a 132 Ft bridge in Killicrankie (though the location says 'Perth', as it's the nearest City it recognises) is the best way to test the laws of gravity, and raise funds for the cause. A select, brave, insane few will throw themselves from a perfectly servicable, solid, feat of engineering and into the chasm below, all in the name of charity on the 15th of March, 2014.

So please donate- every little helps.
