Christmas Smiles

Cub scout pack 81 has adopted a local mens home as a service project. While it is classified as a nursing home, several of the residents are there for lack of any one careing, and are left homeless by their families as they progress in age and dwendling health. There are 11 men in the home, and we want to provide these guys with a Christmas they will always rember. Our goal is to provide each one with a new outfit, pair of pajamas, pack of socks, and personal care goodies including shampoo, toothpaste, oral hygyne products, soap, and grooming items.

They boys are hand making cards and decorations to take, and on the gift delivery day, we will attire ours"elves" in festive holiday attire, sing carols, read the Christmas story from the book of Luke, and hand out the gifts.

We thank you in advance for any donations and prayers you offer, as our goal in doing service projects with these boys, is to show them how to come together and have compassion for others.
