Christmas in Malawi 2013
I plan on raising funds for my flights ect over to Malawi in Africa by myself through sponsored runs, walks, football tournaments and a baking sale but... I want to raise in excess of £940 to donate to a christmas charity so that the kids im going to visit in Malawi can have presents next christmas, i plan on going over to Malawi from the 12th December 2013 - 29th December 2013, spending christmas there.
My idea is that im wanting to raise money to be able to take gifts over to the children in Malawi and dress up myself as Santa and give each kid that is in the villages a few presents each for christmas.
I think that this idea would be very worth while because not only is it giving myself happiness of helping people less fortunate than myself, but these kids dont know what christmas is and what it is to have presents on christmas morning, so i want to show them what it feels like to be special for a day and have all the fun you could imagine, as I, and im sure you, did when we were kids.
So I would really appreciate any donations you can give to this cause, to give these Malawi kids a great christmas in 2013 and put a massive smile on each one of their faces.
