For many of our childhoods, the holiday season was always the best time of the year. The memories of decorating the Christmas tree, opening presents and spending time with our families will stay with us forever. However, when shopping for Christmas presents and celebrating the holidays with friends and family, we may forget that for those kids who don’t have parents to spend their Christmas and New Year with, the season doesn’t bring much joy.

Education Without Barriers (EWB) is dedicated to helping such a group of disadvantaged children who are from more than 7 provinces in China. Having parents in incarceration or being abandoned, they have suffered much more than their peers. Also, given their financial situation, they only have limited access to educational opportunities. With over 200 passionate volunteer tutors, EWB has been providing these children with online education since 2016.

As Christmas and New Year approaches, we hope to prepare a gift for every one of these children which would make them feel like home. A total of 400 dollars is enough to bring happiness and joy to more than 300 children and make their wishes come true. Any amount of donation would be appreciated. You can also check our website to see all the updates about this campaign. (https://educationwithoutbarriers.org/)

One small donation may turn into a lifelong memory for a young child. Let us keep Christmas beautiful with a loving heart and a hope for the best in their future.
