Campaign Story
The Blue Knights International, Texas Chapter IV has undertaken the task of providing Christmas to approximately 200 intellectually challenged children and young adults at the Mission Road Development Center in San Antonio. Donations will help us to ensure that each child resident receives at least five wrapped gifts that they will receive from either Blue Santa (Police), or Red Santa (Fire). Red and Blue Santa are flown into the center by helicopter, much to the thrill of the children and, sadly for some, this will be the only Christmas that they will experience. Your contribution will enable us to have an even greater impact on the lives of these children. All donations to this effort are earmarked exclusively for the MRDC toy run itself; we have no overhead costs; every dime will go to these children.
