- - - - - - Who is Christine? - - - - - -
This is Christine. She is 76 years old and is the last known surviving member of her family. She has lost he family due to various illnesses and diseases, including her own children.
We met Christine when we donated mattresses, blankets and mosquito nets to the homeless shelter. Christine has not been able to treat her Necrotizing Fascilitis (flesh eating disease) since 2013. She cannot afford to fund the creams and lotions required from a pharmacy, for her skin condition to improve. She is in incredible pain. The rash is over her entire body and the skin in her head is actually being eaten away by this illness which she has not had fully diagnoses.
The Ministry Of Health hospital we have referred her to has the injections and IV's needed for her short term treatment. However she cannot afford her prescription from the pharmacy that will help keep her condition under control and ease the painful symptoms.
- - - - - - - How can we immediately help? - - - - - - -
We don't usually take on individual cases but we couldn't leave Christine in the condition she is. She has been ignored for many years. If she had been given medical attention sooner - she would not be in this poor condition.
We have set a minimum target of £360.
£300 will fund 15 months worth of E45 bath lotion, E45 body cream and Clotrimazole (Clonex).
£60 will be used to provide Christine with a Christmas hamper of general food and hygiene products, which she is in desperate need of to use at the homeless shelter she resides at.

On Christine's behalf, our organisation will liase with the Ministry Of Health, Ministry of Social Welfare & Community Development, Mazabuka Municipal Council and the District Commissioners Office. We are referring her special and unique case to all the relevant institutions, to try and obtain funded help for this very vulnerable and elderly woman, who is in a dire situation.
This is a process which will take months. This campaign has been set up to ensure whilst the referral process is happening, that Christine can obtain relief from her painful symptoms with the cream we provide. These creams we will be donating will reduce the further spread of the disease and will reduce the itching, irritation and pain this poor elderly woman has endured alone for 4 years.

We are looking for 30 special souls to donate £12.00 each. We want to make this Christmas special for Christine. She may have no family, no place to live, no possessions - but we want to show her that people do care - and that she has a better quality of live ahead.
You will receive a 'thank you' photo from Christine as she receives our donation hamper.
Every penny makes a great difference. Help us make #Christmas4Christine!
