Christmas Cheers for Political Prisoners in the Philippines 2021

As Christmas approaches, over 713 political prisoners are in jail in the Philippines. 487 were arrested under the Duterte administration.

Political prisoners are not criminals or terrorists. They are selfless, courageous men and women whose only crime is to readily put their lives to serve the most marginalized people, and work for a just and peaceful society.

Many of them were arrested due to trumped-up charges. They won't be able to spend Christmas at home with their families.

As we campaign for their release, we ask from the kindness of your heart to share a MEAL with the political prisoners, and provide them their basic necessities such as drinking water, toiletries, clothes and slippers.
