Christine’s Cancer Treatment

Christine Joy Solidor, 25 years of age, has been diagnosed with Stage 2 Non Hodgkins Lymphoma Cancer last December 2018. Her symptoms are difficulty in breathing and always having back pain. At first we thought it's just another cyst that grew since she already had a major operation way back 2013 near her ovary. But then, when the result of the CT scan came, it was a tumor that grew in a vein that connects her heart and lungs.

The doctors recommended her to undergo chemotherapy or if not, the alternative for chemo is natural therapy. Joy choose to undergo Natural Therapy, but in the middle of her therapy, the doctor noticed an enlargement of her left chest and difficulty in breathing. She was then brought to Southern Philippines Medical Center in Davao for an MRI. Unfortunately, the doctors can't perform an MRI due to fluids found in both of her lungs.

For the first fluid retrieval operation, the doctors were able to retrieve 2 liters of fluid from her left lung and right now, they are in the process of removing fluids from her right lung.

As of this writing, no MRI and chemo therapy has been conducted. The chemo therapy is estimated to cost more than 500,000 Philippine peso (10,000 USD). Any amount would really help in paying hospital bills since more laboratories and tests is needed to be done.

Christine is scheduled to undergo chemo therapy this week and any amount donated will go straight to her family.
