Help build my home that burned down in a neighborhood fire

I'm Christine. It's unfortunate that I had to launch this campaign, because I was one among you until a few weeks ago - a regular woman in her twenties with common aspirations for my future. As it is with tragedies, life turns upside down in a matter of minutes. My home burned down due to a fire in the neighborhood on 26th July, which my family had no role in. My family and I were left with nothing. We had to start from scratch. It would have been impossible without my wonderful friends and colleagues, who contributed heavily with everything they could.

I made sure my family has a temporary place to live in for now. And started picking up the pieces and immediately deployed my savings and help from my friends into reconstructing a new home.

Excluding my own expenditure of around USD 2000, the construction would further require USD 5,500 including labor. Within this expenses, I plan to build to build a new home for my entire household. We are an extended family with 14 members which includes my grandparents, unmarried aunts, and uncles.

While I slowly continue to build a home with the little fund left, I seek to campaign for additional financial resources that you might afford to help me with.

I wish to express my gratitude in a few ways to my friends who can lend a hand in my endeavor:

• As a minimum courtesy, I would share a detailed report on how your money is being spent and the receipts. I know how satisfying it is to see your contribution make impact in others' lives.
• I would also share regular updates on the status of the construction of our home personally to your email. After all, you are a partner in our effort.
