Campaign Story
Hello, my name is Christine. I have two wonderful children, Chase & Levi. I am trying to send them to a local christian school where they will be free from bullies and a low performing/failing school. My oldest, Chase, was bullied not only by other students but also by the principal, vice principal and certain staff.
Kids are going to go through this with others kids at some point. This is not a case of the normal stuff at middle school. The biggest issue was the ADULTS. He was cursed at and called names by the principal, vice principal and a few other staff. (Let me add that the majority of the teachers and staff do NOT act this way towards any student). He was told he was a wussy by the principal, although replace the w with a p. He was called numbnuts, stupid, jerkoff, etc., Not language you expect a principal to use with a 12 year old! This same principal also grabbed my son by his arms and shoulders on a number of occassion but I could never prove it (he said he said situation).
This started when my son did what he was supposed to and reported any and all bullying he saw. Instead of stopping it, the bullying turned to him. As I said though, the biggest and worst bullying was not from the other kids but from the adults! He handled the stuff from the kids fairly well but was highly intimidated by the adults.
My son was afraid to go to school and would be sick, beg & cry not to have to go. I was able to get enough financial aid last year to pull them out in the middle of the year and transfer them to a christian school. In the 5 months my sons attended, Chase regained his self esteem, drive and most importantly, his faith. In fact, both of the kids have a job delivering newspapers!
The school also is the middle of a scandal. On the front page of this weeks newspaper I read that one of the music teachers has been sexually abusing one of his male students for over a year. Although I know that type of thing can happen anywhere, I feel that it has solidified my decision to keep them out of this particular school. This is not the first sexual incident to happen there.
I recently found out I did not receive enough financial aid for the coming year to be able to afford it. I am a working single parent & disabled veteran suffering from PTSD and I want my children to have a chance at a healthy quality education free from bullying and sub-par teaching. I am asking for enough help to bring the tuition down to an affordable amount that I can pay so that I can keep my children out of this middle school. Any amount of donations over & above my requested amount will be given to the school.
Please help me keep my children in this wonderful christian school. From the bottom of ours hearts,
Christine, Chase & Levi.

I've been called a nasty wasty skunk, they say my heart is full of unwashed socks; my soul is filled with gunk. and the words that best describe me are, "stink, stank, stunk". none of that is true. let me donate a small bit here.
