Choose Life! Fight Cancer!

I'll get straight down to it - we live in South Africa and even with a medical aid, our medical expenses are hardly affordable.

I have a very close friend - a single dad with two unnaturally talented young daughters - and he was recently diagnosed with colon cancer!

The hospital plan he pays a fortune for won't cover all the costs and he cannot afford to wait until he has saved enough money for the operation to remove the tumours.

Doctors have warned him that if his cancer spreads to his kidneys, the treatments would entail much more than just an operation and his quality of life will rapidly decrease...

He's a very proud person, and I'm hoping that receiving random acts of kindness from friends, family and strangers alike, will show him that this is a beautiful world and asking for help is not wrong - kindness is a way of life and if we can't help one another, we are nothing.

There are so many people who need him to live as long as possible. Not just for his daughters' sake, but because he is a genuinely intrinsically good person, and the world has too little of those left!!!
