Chloe’s Volunteer trip to Thailand, Sri Lanka and Bali

Hi my names Chloe and I will be aiming to start my volunteering journey in Thailand on the 25th of February 2019. I will be travelling to Chiang Rai where I will be helping the community by taking part in a child care programme in which I will be teaching young children 3-6 years old basic english and life skills.

After 3 weeks in Thailand, I will be moving onto Sri Lanka for 2 weeks where I will be working at the Sea Turtle Conservation where I will be rescuing turtles, releasing turtles, cleaning the beaches and many other things to help with the decline of sea turtles.

From Sri Lanka, my final stop will be Bali, where I will be staying for a further 3 weeks. Here I will be working within a childcare programme again, assisting in their learning and development, and helping to build their confidence through various activities. The goal is to ensure the children get the vital education they need for a bright future.

My journey will end after Bali and I will return home. My fundraising amount is £3000 due to the costs of each programme and flights. This is not a holiday and is a case of giving something back to the world, I would also like to leave a donation to each place I visit to try and make a difference.
