Chloe and Shannen will be heading out to Kathmandu, Nepal in October 2018 to work on a voluntary school construction project with a foundation called ProjectsAbroad.
ProjectsAbroad Nepal was originally a Disaster Relief Project launched in June 2015 because of the Gorkha earthquake.
The goal is to address long term needs of the Nepali community. Currently ProjectsAbroad are working in partnership with Nepal Youth Foundation to rebuild classrooms so that Nepalese children can resume their education in a safe environment.
Our involvement is to really get hands on and build a school from scratch - dig foundation trenches, mix concrete, lay bricks and mortar and paint. Our contribution will make a big difference to the local community.
We are fundraising on behalf of ProjectsAbroad, please do help to donate if you can! We really appreciate your support and we hope we can make a difference to a lot of lives.
