Nathaniel’s heart surgery

Please help us raise the money for our 13-month-old Nathaniel Munashe Chipatiko who has a ventricular septal defect (VSD) - an abnormal opening (hole) in the heart resulting in oxygen-rich blood getting pumped back to the lungs instead of out to the body, causing his tiny baby heart to work harder. What’s more, baby Nathaniel has severe pulmonary stenosis - a narrowing of the valve between his right pumping chamber (right ventricle) and his large blood vessel that carries blood to the lungs to pick up oxygen (pulmonary artery); this means his tiny baby heart has to work harder to pump blood through the narrowed valve and over time, makes the muscle in the right ventricle thicken

Unfortunately, we are running out of time. We are reaching out to our family, friends and the general public to help us raise funds to give our baby Nathaniel the best support he deserves. Baby Nathaniel finds it more difficult to eat, sleep and breathe each day. He needs to go for an urgent heart surgery in India as the procedure cannot be performed in Zimbabwe, his home. The estimated costs for the heart surgery, medical, and logistic expenses is USD25000.
