Chip For Cheaper SA was robbed on the 11 of March 2020, at the Irene Village McDonald's, Irene Village Mall at 09h00.
ALL our scanners, metal and perspex tags and other supplies and equipment were taken.
We are OK but took a HUGE knock financially, and we are unable to continue our work without these items.
We are still able to do some of the chipping and scanning as we have just purchased more scanners however, until further notice, we will not be able to sell any tags as we need to replenish our stock first and finances are preventing this.
Unfortunately our hands are tied with rescues, sponsoring sterilizations etc.
We are doing our best to get back on our feet and help as many as we can, but your help is needed in order for us to help them.
Any donation will be greatly appreciated and will go directly to Chip for Cheaper SA and Trix 4 Animals NPO. Any amounts over the target will also be used for rescues, rescues vet bills and sterilizations going forward.
We would also like to warn all South Africans living in the Irene, Centurion area to be vigilant when going to the McDonald's at Irene Village Mall, as we were advised by some staff and security that the suspects have been seen there before and this was NOT an isolated incident.
We thank you for taking the time to read this and for your support during this time."
