RETREAT FOR SURVIVORS OF SEX TRAFFICKING BY A SURVIVOR

TIMEA'S RETREAT - Retreat for tough chicks :-)

When our founder, Timea was getting out of sex trafficking, she dreamt of a place where she could just go to sleep, eat, relax and clear her head. She had no idea what she was going to do with her life, and she had no idea how to start putting the pieces back together. She dreamt of a beautiful place out in the country where she could breathe fresh air, be herself, and not have to hide her past. She could not find such a place. Instead, she decided to create it.

Timea's Retreat was designed for "tough chicks" and was created by a survivor of sex trafficking - with the help of hundreds of volunteers and community sponsor - Timea's dream will become reality. Timea's Retreat will host its first group of visitors in AUGUST 10-13. Located at a beautiful farm in Waterloo Region. Over 30 local and out of town Police officers, professionals and business owners signed up to volunteer during our camp.

Our Pilot project will invite up to 8 survivors from across Canada who will spend 4 days at the retreat.

The girls can choose from classes like financial advisement, aesthetics/hair, cooking, baking, career/school counselling, health and wellness, farming, soap making, horseback riding, camping, yoga, pottery, arts and a guide to our social service system.

All classes will be provided by local celebrities, successful business owners/mentors, and other "tough chicks".
