Hi!

I'm Dannie,so I studied Creative Writing at uni and for four years I've been trying to break into the publishing to be an editor but due to lack of experience (I couldn't even get an unpaid internship!) I never had the chance to make my dream come true. SO I turned to writing books, I try to write children's illustration books that teach infants important lessons in life rather than the simple fairytale where a girl marries a prince and lives happily ever after, or a boy finds magic beans. Sometimes you have to try in life and things don't happen by chance.

Out of that my book The Weeping Wizard was born about a boy who can't do magic but learns to try hard, ask for help if he needs and....I don't want to spoil the end.

By some miracle a publishing house would like to publish It for me HOWEVER because I'm a nobody (literally that's what they've said but in nicer terms) I have to pay a fee of £3000 for them to go ahead with the publication and for an illustrator.

I'm 25 years old working in a bar, living on my mum's sofa with most of my belongings living in my dads garage, if I can get this book published I can hopefully teach the little minds of Britain (maybe even the world) a little lesson and as a byproduct not have to sleep on a couch anymore. x

I'm on the right!

Anything would be great but I know there are people out there who need funding more than me, there's just not another option for me to get my dream any other way at the minute xx
