Children's Shelter

It started out as a vision of a small group of Filipinos and four Americans to build for a ministry to homeless children. They soon purchased a house and obtained licensing from the government. By 1985, the shelter had purchased a second home. Then in 1992, the Schmidt Family Foundation of Canada built two new houses for the ministry. In 1995, the Children's Shelter of Cebu staff started planning for a school. Construction of the school started in October 1997, and the school opened in August 1998. As of 2005, the CSC has cared for 659 orphaned, abandoned, surrendered, neglected and malnourished childrens.

Now in existence for over 22 years, Children's Shelter continues to strive to expand its programs and offerings to the community.. We hope that you will be able to take part in one or more of the many exciting events that we are offering this year and experience firsthand the pride we take in supporting our cause. 

It is our mission to Insert Mission Statement. In order to meet our mission and provide services in our community, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals just like you, we wouldn't be able to those in our community each year.
