Coats for Kids Project provides warm coats to the street children of Kabul.
The kids are mostly orphans who are supporting their families. They are on the streets of Kabul selling candies, toys, or doing hard labor.
The project is primarily funded by YOU donors, and personal fund from myself. If you would like to sponsor a kid from the streets of Kabul for the Coats for Kids Project, please get in touch with Abid Amiri at [email protected] or call.
One full outfit consists of shalwar kamiz, sweater or coat, and shoes that costs about $40 for a kid.

Matt and I are honored to fund outfits for two children. I recently read Anand Gopal's recent book about Afghanistan (No Good Men Among the Living) and I highly recommend it.
