Children of God Church

I am asking for help establishing our home church in southwestern Pennsylvania. Funds will go to promoting the new church, and once it is established will allow me to devote more time to the ministry, studying, teaching and serving the brethren.

Why establish a new church? In large part because of my love for teaching the Word of God, sharing the Gospel and encouraging Christians in their walk. Another significant reason is the need for more churches where the whole counsel of God ins preached and where our brothers and sisters sincerely seek to walk together in holiness and righteousness for our Lord. Having worked in ministry, I can tell you how compromised many churches and independent ministries are, so much so that they will sacrifice doctrine for popularity, refuse to discipline members living in sin and will silence any ministers who actually preach what is in the Bible.

Therefore, there is a deep need for faithful churches that will follow God's Word. Whether small or large, we want to establish a community that is faithful and holy and visibly different from the world.

Join us for fellowship at our home church on Friday evening or Saturday. We have conversation, personal prayer, worship and Communion along with a Bible teaching. If circumstances allow, we will have a shared meal. We believe in walking together in love and obedience to our Lord Jesus Christ. He has made us a sacred family.

If you’d like to learn more or to join us, contact brother Tom. We are in Washington, PA close to the hospital, but being a house church we can choose another meeting place later if we wish.

Children of God is a local Bible believing Church. Our fellowship is in English but we can offer help with interpretation for Chinese speakers and Spanish speakers.

We teach orthodox theology mostly from the reformed view and have not bent with the times regarding the moral law. Unlike most churches we respect biblical gender roles and the lifelong nature of marriage. We encourage holiness and modesty and believe in serving our brother.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments.
