Children in Nepal need our help!

40% of Nepal’s population is under the age of 18, making the investment in children and adolescents so critical for the present and future of the country, currently ranked in the top 3 poorest countries in Asia.

This will be our 8th year supporting the children of Nepal and we couldn’t have made such an impact on the lives of so many children without the support of everyone that donates money, clothes or time over the years.

We’ve come a long way...

We started with just 2 volunteers. This year we’re going to have 24! We raised $5k in donations in our first year, but this year we’re driving (with your help!) for $35k.

In our first year we accepted 20kgs of physical donations. We’ve got space cleared for 700kgs this time around.

What will we be doing this year?

We will be supporting 2 projects this year:

Team A: remember the hostel we built for 20 children 3 years ago in Sindchulphok? We will be expanding the education facilities for these children along with funding the annual operations of the hostel. Partnering with NGO - Salvation Society Nepal.

Team B: we have a new hostel in Hetauda housing 24 children! The hostel doesn’t have a kitchen so our goal is to build and fund this with your help. Partnering with NGO Asha Nepal.

How can you help?

_Sponsor a Child (SGD) _

$1,000 = sponsor a child for an entire year. Food, shelter, education, clothes and carers. We have 20 children that need sponsorship. We appreciate any individuals, families or groups that would like to support a child for a year... what an impact this money can make!

_Building Essentials (SGD)_

$500 = Kitchen Equipment

$200 = Fencing for hostel

$150 = Paint for a hostel

$50 = Building supplies wheelbarrows, picks, shovels, paint brushes

$20 = Bricks for building kitchen

We appreciate any support you can provide. Every single dollar that you give through this initiative goes directly to the people that need it, so you truly are making a real and remarkable difference on the lives of children in need. After 8 years of visiting these communities we are so proud to see the families we are impacting to make a difference to the next generations of Nepal.
