My name is Christine! I'm 30 and I still believe in power of a dream!
Being native Ukrainian I moved to Russia in 2014 after the military conflict in the eastern part of my country had started. Currently I am living in a small town in the south of Russia and working as a tutor of English and French.
Perhaps, this is my longterm connection with the foreign languages that has inspired me towards my dream. When I used to be a child I decided that I would live abroad. With time I realized that there were lots of pitfalls on the way to it, so I tried not to think about it. But after starting working with children (as a tutor) my childhood plan has resurracted as far as I deal with these innocent creatures full of inspiration and hopes!
I have chosen Canada as a destination because it has special immigration program which requires official work expereince, education, knowledge of English and/or French and proof of funds (which an applicant will use in Canada to settle). At the moment I have already passed exam in French language TEF Canada. I know that I got excellent marks for Reading and Listening - C2 level and I'm waiting for the rest of the results (Writing and Speaking). Also my husband and I have almost saved up the minimal sum of money demanded by the program.
Though, I still have to pass IELTS exam in English (330 $), to evaluate our diplomas in the WES organization (700 $) and to pay the official fees for processing of our applications and the right of permanent residence fee (1600$).
That is why I ask the world for the help! Of course I understand that I can continue saving up until I get the whole amount, BUT the problem is that the older you are the less points you get in this program and it is less possible that you will be selected! I will be 31 in December and hope that I will have time to pass exam, prepare the documents and ger registered!
My husband, two budgies and I do hope and rely on help!
Thank you in advance!
