Everyone has their story, so here is mine. Over the past 12 years I have fallen behind on my child support, on average of about $3200.00 per year. The almost $2000.00 per month that I am ordered to pay to care for my two daughters has been difficult to do. It is certainly not because I am a deadbeat Dad, or that I don't care for my children; they will even tell you that themselves. My two daughters are amazing young women now, ages 21 and 16.

I have believed that money is not the only thing that tells my children that I love them and that I love being their Dad. I am not saying that I am perfect or that I have always made the best decisions, but I do love my girls. Currently I am approximately $32,000 dollars behind in my support (an average of $3200 per year over the past 10 years since my divorce was final). Primarily because, from the beginning my support has been way more than I could afford. Although the courts saw it differently and my attorney had me sign a document that made my support irreduceable, I have tried to focus on working and paying my support and not fighting to make it a more manageable amount. I have never even fought the cost of living increases that have automatically been awarded. I have come to realize now that that was a mistake and has only added to my problems.

I am not looking for a handout, but just some help so that I don't have to put my daughters through any more anguish. Thank you for even considering to help. May God bless you.
