Children who have escaped intense conflict in North Africa are in need of basic education, including literacy. These children, aged 5-7, have not been able to attend school to learn fundamental skills like reading and writing. The local leader has hired teachers and rented a space without the necessary funds out of faith that Canadians and others will help to provide for their needs. The school has begun and the children are learning.

The parents of the children struggle to find work and can barely feed the children. They cannot afford to pay for their education. We need to help.

Interserve has workers who can make sure the funds are used only for the children's education. Your donation will go directly to the children's needs.

The total budget each month is $350. That pays the rent, supplies, and the salary for 4 teachers. We are trying to cover one year (to start).

We cannot tell you the country because these children are internally displaced and have fled an intense conflict. It is in North Africa. We are keeping the families safe.

  • This is a great cause. We give hope and a better future for these kids that have gone through so much. It does not take a lot to change a future
