Child Education in Kenya

Educate a Child:

Wamulu International's Activities:

Wamulu International’s objective is to alleviate poverty and distress of under-privileged women and children living in the Kakamega, Bungoma, Busia and Vihiga Counties in Kenya. Wamulu International´s main actions in this "Educate a Child" project include the provision of meals, clothing, school uniforms, stationery, and transport among other school related materials so that the children can attend the Government´s free education program and therefore have better access to improved living standards in the future. The project seeks to provide material support as well as assisting the children with guidance, counselling, and encouragement during their educational journey. This project is focused on children in the near slums and extremely poor parts of the district who live below the poverty line and whose parents have succumbed to the scourge of HIV/AIDS. As a result, this project targets the needs of destitute children and OVC (Orphans & Vulnerable Children).

Fundraising Campaign for Kenyan Children:

This fundraising campaign will fund the Kenyan Children Education Program which contributes to improving the lives of Kenyan underprivileged children and securing them a better tomorrow.

These children living in Kenya need our support, they are currently living in an unsafe environment in which their unfortunate living conditions only endanger them even more. We, as humans and global citizens know that fulfilling basic needs such as food is vital to a human being’s existence and dignity. In this moment, these children need the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty which they currently endure. Education will not only provide them with a better future, but create more opportunities for Kenya as a nation. So what are we waiting for?
