Chick’s with sticks

Hockey became a very big part of our lives when I first started playing at the age of 7 and now at the age of 21 it has been the biggest part of my life as it's what I strive to do. The game has added so much value to my life and it has taught me so much.

This sport has brought many tears, cheers and smiles. I even nearly lost my sister to the game due to a head injury, so I've experienced it all when it comes to this beautiful sport and that is why I am trying to raise funds in order to attend the Country Districts tournament in June. Being able to attend this tournament would mean the world to me and it would mean that I get to represent my province alongside my sister and partner. Unfortunately the tour is very expensive and if we don't raise any funds then we won't be in the financial position to afford the tour as my parents along with my partners parents are jobless and my parents don't have any furniture left to sell for us to go which is how we went on tours before this one.

The tour costs are R12 000 per player and we are 3 that need to raise funds so that's R36 000 and this amount is not easy to just find or even raise for that matter. We are busy with a brown money project where we collect all the cents that we can find but that takes some time and isn't very easy therefore any donations will be much appreciated.
