Campaign Story
Chevy is an INJURED 1-2 year old male Lab mix. that came into the shelter after he was hit by a car. He has been seen by a vet and it was discovered that he has a broken pelvis. His left leg was swollen but not broken. His left elbow has soft tissue damage and will heal fine with time. We got xrays, pain meds, antibiotics, anti-inflammatory meds and was treated for parasites. We got his shots up to date. He is Heartworm Negative. No surgery is required and he will need to be on strict crate rest. We are boarding him at the Vet's office for a few days. He needs a rescue ASAP! Can somebody save this sweet boy? He is very gentle and loving despite being in pain.
Donations can also be called into Panhandle Veterinary Services in Chipley, FL. (850) 638-4857. Please let the staff know it is a donation for Chevy from the shelter.
