Cherry The Cat, was found by my partner last week, She was closing the door one night to lock up the house for the night and before she closed the door little kitten, covered in mud came running through the door. Meowing and also limping on their back right leg we noticed. My partner decided she would adopt her because the kitten needed a home and to be taken care of, she then took her to wash after checking her for flees and seeing there was lots of them and gave her a good bath. It was probably the first time she had been properly cleaned in a long time by the looks of it. Then she put her in a cat carrier after making up some bedding so she could sleep comfortably. The next day she took her to the vet and they checked her over and the diagnosed her with a hernia and two broken legs Then they said that she needed two surgeries as soon as possible, as she had a broken legs which will require a metal plate to be put in her legs. I also remember them saying if she had of been outside for a few more hours then she wouldn't have made it. I even said to my partner it's amazing, you didn't find this animal out on the street somewhere, they were so desperate they ran into the home not knowing if it would lead to help or not. I'm glad they ran into the kitchen and found my partner. However, we are not in a good financial situation and the vets say they need £500 all together for the check up, treatment and for the two surgeries. Please if you can find it in your heart and want to help, anything you can donate would be so appreciated. Seriously, the smallest amount you could think of would be helping this little kittens faith and courage they showed when they reached out for a rescue. Thank you for your time reading and I hope we can raise what we need to cover her surgery costs. All animals deserve to live.
