Campaign Story
Hello,
My name is Eddie. I am a real person with real needs. One dollar per person isn't too much to ask for. My last procedures were over 20,000 dollars. I was lucky and paid 20% thanks to my Medicare. I'm on Facebook and I have a Twitter account. I'm a Christian. A real person with real needs. I am married with one grown son. Chris is a local truck driver. He is also training to be a pro wrestler. Maybe by the grace of God I'll get to see him wrestle. My awesome wife is staying home trying her best to take care of me, bless her heart. This keeps her from being able to work. January our world turned upside down on us when I was diagnosed with cancer.
My cancer is advanced, but at the moment it's still treatable. I'm determined to beat this for my family and myself. Due to the constant pain I that am in, I am unable to work. In fact at this moment I can't even take care of myself. The cancer has spread to my spine and ribs. At the L1 vertebrae it has fractured my.
I just worry so much about how we are going to make it with our bills and survive. The cancer is enough to worry about, without having to worry about the mounting medical bills. I have insurance - but it is already clear this isn't going to cover everything.
I've attached a number of photos to help show what cancer I have. I also have stenosis of the lumbar. I will be having surgery in a little over a month to take care of that, plus pins and screws to brace my spine where the fracture is.
I will be posting regular updates about my progress.
If you are unable to donate. but can share my page I would be grateful. I just want to be able to get my life back. and be there for all the things a husband and dad should be there for.
Thanks for taking the time to read my page. If you prefer to send a money order or check, or other you can send it to a post office box 590 Brookeland Texas 75931
Thanks for your kind and compassionate help.
I just visited the oncologist Dr. Chen @ St. Elizabeth Christus in Beaumont, Texas February 23rd, It is confirmed that I have prostate cancer. He is really optimistic that we can beat this. All I'm asking is for a little help. I've never ask before.
