Chemotherapy for my brother’s cancer

Dear People of this Platform,
My name is Lina, I am 22 years old and live in Greece with my family. Recently my brother, who is 25 years old and an athlete, was diagnosed with cancer on his Thymus. His cancer grew rapidly in a time span of approximately 7 months, in which we didn’t even know the diagnosis yet. He started going to all sorts of doctors because he was experiencing serious pain in his shoulder which even led to sleepless nights full of suffering. We received the diagnosis a few weeks ago after a lot of painful, time consuming and expensive laboratory tests and biopsies. The cancer has ingrown in such a short amount of time that it’s currently inoperable. He is about to begin various chemotherapy sessions which will cost a lot of money. My parents are doing whatever is in their power to find that money, by working extra hours, second jobs and of course asking our family and friends. Unfortunately given the circumstances of the economic crisis in Greece, gaining that amount of money in such a short time is nearly impossible. We can’t postpone the therapy as well, since the cancer develops in rapid speed and my brother is still hurting so much he can’t even sleep, study or work properly. I know that there are a lot of people in need out there and I would help every single one of them if could. But right now the one in need is my brother and my whole Family would really appreciate it from the bottom of their heart if you could spare even 1 euro to help my brother.
