Chemotheraphy for Mama

Mama have done a consultation today for her Radiation and Chemotheraphy with the referred Doctor by her Surgeon.

We were informed she will have 28 sessions of the treatment and it will cost 5000 pesos per session and she needs to have a Ct scan that costs 14,000 pesos.

We were advised to have a PWD card and the Government benefits (PhilHealfh) for a lesser payments.

We are hoping to collect atleast 70,000- 100,000 pesos for us to start with her treatment. This amount will include her Ct scan, treatment, transportation, vitamins and medicine.

We will keep on updating with her progress.

Hi everyone,

My mother, Mama, was diagnosed with Stage 3 cancer in her rectal on June 2020. We just found out when she started loosing weight, defecates most of the time with blood and in pain everday since March 2020.

We went to several doctors and hospital and kept diagnosing her with amoebiasis but antibiotics were not working at all and we got this heart breaking news.

Unfortunately tumor is too big to be taken out and for now Doctors suggested to do colostomy before the radiation sessions then they will proceed with Chemotherapy.

She is fighting everyday and taking herbal medicines for now until we will have enough money for her Radiation and Chemotheraphy.

Both me and my father are working to sustain her daily needs, Milk Nutrivit and Ensure, prescribed by Doctors ( where she gets her nutrients because of the food limit and food intake, vitamins,olostomy bags that cost 200Php (Needs to be change 3-5 days) and salary for the one who is taking care of her ( my father is working 12 hours or more at the factory, my 2 brother are studying and Im miles away because of work).

We are hoping that we can collect donations for her upcoming Chemos and radiation sessions, we are fighting because she is also fighting to be with us.
