My name is celine franzoni i have a 13 year old Chelsey and i am trying to rasie funds for a pioneering treatment programme for her. when chelsey was 7 years old she got a disase called 'acute disseminated encephalomyelitis' (ADEM). She learned how to walk again after being rehabilitated in dun laoghaire. Chelsey has being leading a normal life but last year i found a lump on her spine which has diagnosed as 'Scoiliosis' a spine deformity that curves the spine in a S shape. This can effect her lungs and heart as she grows. Chelseys life as a normal child has stop since then as the pain became unbearable and she has to remain at home were she currently receives home tuition. I now have 2 options; 1. an 8 hour operation to place  steal rods in her back 'a risky procedure that could result in paralysis. 2. Chelsey can attend the SOS clinic in London for an intensive 4 week therapy programme. This programme has had great results in treating scoiliosis sufferer's. I want the best option for Chelsey and hope to send her to London for therapy. The cost of the therapy is 10,000 euro and I am hoping to rasie the money by organising a benefit night on the 28th of september in Hanlon's corner. My daughter has being through so much and deserves the best chance to recover and I am making this plea on her behalf for people to show there support for Chelsey and donate generously to help raise the funds for her treatment
