Fight Cancer With Hope

Good day everyone! I am Charlone Sagmit, 29 yrs old and working as a Customer Service Representative. As of now, I'm currently suffering from Alveolar Soft Part Sarcoma (ASPS), a very rare type of soft-tissue sarcoma that grows slowly and whose cell of origin is unknown.ASPS can migrate (metastasize) into other parts of the body, typically the lungs and the brain. It first occurred in my left thigh in 2015, and now totally spread to my lungs.

I underwent 6 sessions of chemotherapy started last August of 2017 with the side effects of feeling tired, lacking energy, losing hair and vomiting etc. and had my CT scan (chest with contrast) on December 2017. Unfortunately the results did not satisfy my Oncologist since he finds out that the nodules changes very little. He's afraid it might grow very fast and might metastasize on other parts of my body.To fully recover on my health and focus on the treatment, I requested a Leave of Absence on my work. I also make sure to be strict on my diet like eating more on vegetable and drinking fruit/vegetable juices and avoiding processing foods like hotdog, ham and red meat.

My doctor advised us to change the treatment and he recommended the best option for my case. Oral chemo is the effective way and is any drug you take by mouth to treat cancer and it is not given to you with a needle. SUTENT (SUNITINIB) is a target chemotherapy drug from a new class of multikinase inhibitors. It targets a specific protein within cancer cells, stops them from growing leading to eventual destruction and shrinkage of tumors. According to my doctor, I'll be needing like 90 pcs 50mg capsules of Sunitinib that's good for three months treatment. It cost $240/ P12,000 per day and a total of $21,600 / P1,080,000 for 3 months.

I'm humbly asking for help and financial support to extend my life. My father doesn't have a permanent job and my sister who already have its own family helping us for our daily and medical expenses. We cannot afford this new treatment thats why we desperately need your support. While we're waiting for the right amount I might continue my regular treatment to prevent cancer cells to grow and spread rapidly. Below is the needed amount for the campaign.

Chemotherapy ( per session) = $800 /P40,000 (6 sessions) $4,800 / P240,000
Oral chemo (Sunitinib Capsule) = $240 / P12,000 per day
