Campaign Story
Hello, I am raising money for a 16 year old lad, who unfortunately has terminal cancer, Charlie Hilton. Because he has such a rare type of cancer (Desmoplactic Small Round Cell Tumour) that the Doctors cannot give him a life expectancy. Charlie's Wish at this stage is to experience as many things as he can whilst he is able to. He should be thinking about exams, prom and career choices not having to worry about how long he has left to live or whether he is going to see his next birthday.
We have set up Charlie's Wish campaign to try and give Charlie some escape from his day to day struggle and not having to worry about hospital and medicines. All money we raise on here will go to fund days out/experiences for Charlie.
Charlie Hilton is the loveliest lad you could ever meet. Even with his condition he still puts everyone else's needs before his. His warm smile and cheeky personality lights up the room. His dream was to be a rugby player but obviously due to his diagnosis this is no longer possible for him.

Hi Charlie, I don't know you personally but I've been following your Facebook page Charlie's Wish for a while and have been really touched by your story, it's brought me to tears. I'm not much older than you myself and could never be as brave as you clearly have been since your diagnosis, so I just wanted to tell you how much I admire both you and Molly for your courage and ability to keep smiling. I cannot say I know what you're going through but having lost a grandad to cancer in 2013, I know how hard it can be to even get out of bed sometimes with this on your mind. I wish the two of you all the best and hope my small contribution can help you achieve your aspirations, stay strong and remember how awesome you are.
