A Brief background , our group of four was started about three months ago by my friend and I . We had just graduated university in china and decided to take a trip to visit other Asian countries ( Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam) . As you may have guessed our trip began and stopped at Cambodia, the first week actually was interesting and fun as we visited the planned and approved tourist destinations. During the second week though when we met Christy (currently the third member of our group) who spoke little but okay Chinese and English, it was only then we saw and experience a hidden and dark side of Cambodia that we could not turn our backs too. Not wanting to get into the sites or experiences that brought us to join and aid two already established local charities here , I would like to share with you what we have done and still are doing that has brought us to relyon assistance from public communities. We have been able to everyday supply 60 meals at lunch to individuals in need. We have been able to import necessity products from china for people that otherwise was overpriced here locally. We also give language lessons (English and Chinese) to individuals on a Weekend.
