SG$370.00raised of SG$1,000.00 goal goal
Hello! We are a team of student filmmakers from NTU ADM that have produced a short psychological-horror narrative about the journey of Andrew, a once-prolific sketch artist that is trying to regain his glory through unorthodox means.
The story of 'Charcoal' is one that tells of the inner struggles that creatives face in the passage of time, and aims to marry traditional south-east asian rituals and superstitions with contemporary storytelling.
The team is in the process of bringing our film together, and hope to bring this project to a wider audience through international film festivals and bring greater attention to the fascinating psychology behind regional supernatural beliefs.
To do this, we require financial support to aid in sending the film overseas.
As student filmmakers, every donation would mean a lot to us, and we hope to bring more people into our production journey with your support. We also deeply appreciate any sharing of the crowdfunding link amongst family and friends.
For more details, follow us on @charcoal.thefilm on Instagram, where you can see the film's making, catch up with our lovely cast @pavantheactor and @soleilmak, and have sneak peeks of behind-the-scenes!
