Chantelle and Ashley Take on the World

Hey there! 

Thank you for checking us out. We are Chantelle and Ashley and are dreaming of travelling the world together. We wish to fly to Europe (we had hoped to go in the next 18 months) and to live there for a couple of years. This dream was on track until we both got laid off from our jobs (working for different departments of the same company). How quickly our lives have changed. 

Travel was no longer our priority and instead we watched as any savings we had made, dwindled into nothing just trying to keep up with rent, bills and other general expenses. Ash got a job at Subway recently, which is great news however it is not a full time or even part time position and is barely getting enough to pay the backlog of rent and bills, let alone even begin to think about saving for our dream. I'm looking every day for a job but it seems i'm up the same 300 people looking for the same types of jobs. our dream currently is looking like it just won't happen. 

A friend told me about this site and I thought, well, what have we got to lose? If no one donates, then we're no worse off than we were before. Looking around this here, I see so many wonderful fundraisers and many, a great deal worthier than ours. I am thankful that despite our diet of 2 minute noodles we are both reasonably healthy and have a lot of love here. Should you believe that our dream is worthy of your donation, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
