Vision:

On 20 November 2012 I will turn 26 years old and for the first time in my life I have felt my true calling and purpose for being here. As a way of supporting the less fortunate, I have decided to give up my birthday and Christmas presents in exchange for the basic essentials such as water, food, and whatever is needed to support the less fortunate. I decided to do this a little different from the average person. I want to have hands on experience with helping and sharing with others. I would like to give to as many families as I can for my birthday and Christmas.

Periodically, I go online and read stories of people that live in poverty and it gives me a special apperciation for what I have. Sometimes in life we have the tendency to forget how truly blessed we are and to realize that our situation is not as grim as someone else's. The resources that we take for granted in life and waste on a daily basis can be considered a miracle to someone in poverty. Something as a simple hug would enlighten someone's day so therefore I sk that you stop and think how truly blessed you are and let your heart be enlighten to bless someone else's heart.
