Hey Everyone,

It is truly taking a lot for me to do this, BUT: I figure its better to try than to wonder "what if". 

So for almost five years, I have wanted to go to Campus Pride and with the cost of living expenses and school, it has always been quite a struggle to save. This is where I need your help.

In July 2013, Campus Pride will be hosting its Summer Leadership Camp. If you are not familiar with Campus Pride, its an organization that helps create a safer environment for LGBTQ students on college campuses nationwide. This year, I have hopes to attend the Advisor Bootcamp that allows professionals like myself to build the skills I already have to better service the local LGBTQ community (Follow the link here to learn more:www.campuspride.org). 

This year it is in Nashville, Tennessee and I need a little bit of help getting there. I have already received a $200 scholarship from the organization but I need just a little bit more to get there. The total cost for me to attend will be a little over $1,000 so I will need all the help I can get. Additionally, I am saving for a trip to the Philippines in December to learn more about the education reform happening in the country, thus I cannot afford to do both. 

Again, anything you give will be appreciated because it will be going to a good cause! I am so blessed to have people who are willing to help me, so whatever you can give is appreciated.
