Change the thinking of people – Help mums

Hello!

My name is Niki, a mum of a little girl and a person, who is in love with baby-wearing. Have started this campaign, because would like to share and spread in my community the love of baby-wearing. This would involve changing the thinking of people.

At the moment learning for my exam as a baby-wearing consultant and will start my business in September. Would like to do demonstrations in front of expectant mums, in the hospital and in mums homes. For these to be done would need to buy some more equipments, but as I am home with my little one and we mainly just have the income of my husband to live on, cannot afford to do this. This is why ask for your help, to help me make a difference in the world!

If have the chance would like to open a little advice giving place up as well. Here mums could get advice, try on baby-wearing equipments and choose the right one for their needs. Also would like to make it possible for them to rent the suitable one and if they decide to buy it, order it for them. For families, who do not have the chance to buy or rent an equipment, would like to rent it out for free of charge. Also families, who have a premature baby would get this help for free.

Would also like to make a mobile advice service. Like this would travel from village to village and with the help of the health visitors would show mums the different equipments. This would be probably the first step after buying equipments, because like this could reach more people and not just mums with babies, but also pregnant women, who could decide and work towards baby-wearing before their child is born.

The area that I would like to cover can be seen on the attached map. This is about a 100km x 80km rectangle and there is no other baby-wearing consultant in the named area.

Possible expansion ways: If would raise enough money, would like to visit more baby-wearing courses. Would like to visit ClauWe course in the capital, short courses about how to help mums with twins, premature babies and pregnant women and also to visit a Mawiba course in Germany.
