Please help me fund my surgery ❤️

Hi, I am Chandra, 25 - I love children and work as an Au Pair.

September of 2017 my father passed away from a heart attack. This was a difficult time - I weighed 105kgs (231lbs) and I also suffer from bipolar disorder. I dropped down to 97kgs (213lbs) in 2018 due to not eating adequately. My health was deteriorating, and I knew I had to do something about it.

16 September 2018, I started my weight loss journey.

I knew i had to do something because of so many reasons, but mainly because of health problems.

I started eating healthier and doing some physical exercises. I lost a total of 42kgs (93lbs) and I'm continuing...

The weight that I have lost eliminated my flat feet pain which I constantly had, I feel happier and I now have a healthier body, mind and heart.

Unfortunately, with the weight I have lost, came lots of loose skin.

A lot of people think that loose skin will bounce back. It is not that easy when the skin has been stretched significantly. The more the skin stretches the less likelihood of it not bouncing back and the bigger the chance for the need for reconstructive surgery.

My belly has so many stretch marks, but so does the rest of my body. I've been overweight for most of my life. Other areas of my body that has loose skin is my upper arms, thighs and my chest (breasts).

Even though some areas have minor excess skin, it still causes a serious problem. The chafing of my thighs cause rashes and sometimes make it unbearable to walk or do any activity. And the overall appearance breaks my self-confidence and has been affecting my mental state badly.

So, my need for reconstructive surgery is the final step I need to be able to live a normal, happy life and to be able to reach my goals and dreams that I have worked so hard for.

I have never asked anyone for help, but the reason I am asking for help here is because the salary I get for Au Pairing here in South Africa, is very low. It is impossible for me to save such a big amount of money, so I hope people around the world will be touched by my journey/story of my weight loss and help to achieve my goals and dreams.
