CHANCE NEEDS SOME HELP TO WALK PAIN FREE

Chance and English pointer was found one morning back in July 2022 tied to a metal pole on a quiet beach in Cyprus left to die under the hot sun. Luckily for him he was spotted and unable to escape he was frozen with fear, he was taken to a vet for emergency care, needless to say this had left chance very traumatised and he shut down in fear. We were able to find chance a fabulous foster home and it has taken a lot of care and attention to get him to the happy dog he is today, although he is still very wary of strangers till he knows it’s safe, he’s at his happiest being in a pack and running and playing with other dogs.

Chance has now got the amazing offer of a UK based rescue taking him on and working with him to get him his forever home which we are very grateful. Unfortunately chance has developed swellings on his front paws and we need to address this before he leaves Cyprus. He will require 2 operations PANCARPAL ARTHRODESIS on each leg which cost €500 each. We’ve already covered his ct scan at a cost of €420 to get to this diagnosis.

Talk about bad timing, these offers of help don’t come very often and we are pleased to say that the offer will remain in place till chance can fly after surgery, so we need a little help to get his operations covered.
