Challenge reality with Victor Creations

Having worked in the continually growing multi-million pound scare attraction industry for a number of years as a sculptor and scenic artist and having carried out a tremendous amount of market research, I have established a gap in the market for realistic, high quality but low cost scare props such as body parts, bones, skulls, etc, scenic artistry and theming. There are barely a handful of companies in the UK who provide these props and services, most are sourced from the US. The US products are generally inferior, are expensive after import duty has been applied, the lead time can be months and there is little or no aftercare.

The UK props either advertise Asian imports of 'comedy' quality or they are made as bespoke items at great cost.

Apart from the well known farm parks, theme parks and other venues, there is an undeniably huge increase in the home haunt industry (already very popular in the US) and haunt operators are crying out for affordable yet superior, highly realistic products. I have been producing a range of products in order to fulfill this need and have also started to build an exciting customer base. Year round venues such as escape rooms and zombie laser tag will also be part of my target market. I also intend to offer theming services which is much needed locally and I have identified a number of other opportunities, not only for Halloween but also for Christmas, Valentine's Day and Easter.

I have a substantial amount of experience in prop making having freelanced for many prop companies. I am also a freelance artist regularly sculpting commissioned pieces for customers. In order to move forward, I now need to concentrate on marketing and product range. I have always been very active, personally, on social media and intend to take this further by promoting my new business rather than as an individual.
