Our little club is thriving with new Junior Teams but we need funds to keep providing equipment and facilities for all. 5 years ago I took on a challenge to raise money by playing 100 holes of golf in one day on 5 different courses. I walked round and carried my bag and putted out on every single hole. Longest day of my life starting at 4.15 and finsihed just after 9pm. Well the scars have now healed and I am upping the ante to raise funds for the Club. This time I will be playing on one course. The Weald of Kent have supported me in allowing me to play on MONDAY 22ND JUNE 2015. Again I shall be walking and carrying but this time aiming to complete 150 holes in the day. I need your support, sponsorship and generosity. Colleagues will accompany me to tend the pin and look for errant golf balls (of which there will probably be too many).  And if you are anywhere near the Weald of Kent on that day please come along and see if you can spot me struggling along or join me for a much needed pint afterwards. Thank You Mike Donnelly Chairman Headcorn Football Club

Time to get busy

Update posted by Mike Donnelly at 04:18 am

The end of the London Marathon is my cue to step up the campaign. I have stepped up the cycling to get the much needed miles in my legs. My new status as a football referee is giving me plenty to do on a Saturday and Sunday. The 22nd June

Training Starts Soon

Update posted by Mike Donnelly at 07:18 am

Having experienced the pain of my previous challenge I know a bit more about what lies in store. Suffice to say that the last of the Christmas goodies will be eaten or drunk this weekend so my training regime is not hampered when it starts on the 5th January. There
