Campaign Story
Hello there!
I am a 22 year old female who was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in August of 2015. Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune disorder and a chronic condition in which the pancreas produces little or no insulin. Therefore as a Type 1 Diabetic I have to give myself daily injections of insulin and monitor my blood sugar levels. A CGM is continuous glucose monitor which takes a reading of blood sugar on set intervals with a small electrode placed under the skin and held in place by an adhesive.
I am trying to raise the necessary funds for all my diabetes supplies including insulin, needles and a CGM. We've come a long way with technology that greatly benefits all diabetics, and your donations could make this possible for me too.
Any donation towards this goal will be greatly appreciated. If you are not able to donate, please pass on this campaign to friends and family who might be able to help.
Thank you
Nisa
