- Hi Everyone! I am appealing for your most kind hearts to extend your blessings to my family. The head of our family was Cesar when he was still an able employee. However in 2009, he started enlargement of his left leg with bulges like water that pops out when filled. These pains him together with lymph nodes appearing every now and then accompanied with high fever. After so many hospitalizations, check-ups with specialized doctors in vein varicosity which ended when he was forced to retire in 2012 since he had lymphedema in his left leg. A few months after he noticed that there was severe pain in his left knee and had a check-up which resulted in acute osteoarthritis. With so much burden of enlarged legs, bulging foot, which lasted for about three years already, sometime October 2014, he was reaching out to something not quite far from where he was, the arm that he stretched when put back in front of him had a slight sound but accompanied with slight pain too. The next day the right arm was also experiencing tingling feeling that was irritable too. When he had a check-up the doctor said it was Bilateral Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. The recommendation was to have surgery, which my husband was not actually approving. He was thinking that he already had lymphedema, then osteoarthritis, then now, it would be impossible for him to undergo surgery. Through those years, he began to deteriorate with his health suffering from diabetes, hypertension he had several medications day in and day out.
- Last Jan. 13/18 he felt uneasy with phlegm which could not be loosened,so his breathing was slow, deep paced, he was loosing his appetite and I noticed that there was a slight swelling on his left hand. Also, his urination had lessened from the usual 30ml to teardrop size. This caused alarm, that I was able to convince him to have a check-up. From what we expected to be simple UTI, it turned out complex with pulmonary infection and kidney failure. At first, I didn't expect him to be confined, but with the lab results, I knew that we would have a problem ahead. True enough from Jan. 16 onwards the hospital bill is already huge that we cannot cope up with our meager funds and some financial help from our dear friends.
- So, with this crowd sourcing company, I truly implore from your kind hearts to please share whatever you feel is proper to share to one of the many people in need. Me and my family are forever indebted to you.
